The author of the renderings with the image of the Tesla lunar rover was a user of the social network Instagram with the nickname Charlie Automotive. It is logical that the Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck became the basis of the project, as its unusual appearance perfectly matches the lunar space vehicle.
It looks like a truck came out of the pages of a science fiction novel. In addition, Tesla uses a tough case and bulletproof glass in the Cybertruck design, which can be useful if the Elon Musk wants to make a real lunar rover based on a pickup truck.
The Tesla Cybertruck electric van was introduced to the public last November. Despite the fact that the pickup has not yet started to be mass produced, the company collected a large number of pre-orders for its purchase. Depending on the configuration selected, the electric car can travel from 400 to 800 km on a single battery charge.
