Dovizioso breaks left collarbone after motocross accident

Rider was participating in a motocross race in Italy when he fell on his left shoulder.
On Sunday, Ducati MotoGP rider Andrea Dovizioso had to be taken to hospital in Italy on suspicion of a broken left collarbone after a motocross accident. Dovizioso was participating in a championship race in the Emilia Romagna region when he fell, falling over his left shoulder according to witnesses.
He was taken to a hospital in the city of Forli for tests to check whether his collarbone is broken or not. There is still no official bulletin on Dovizioso's situation.
Ducati had given Dovizioso permission to participate in the race, with the Italian using motocross as an important part of his training regime for the return of MotoGP. The decision also comes amid the negotiation of the new contract between the pilot and the brand, which is at a time of stalemate due to wage differences.
Although Dovizioso's condition is unknown at that time, a possible break of the collarbone comes at the worst possible moment for the Italian, with the start of the 2020 MotoGP season approaching, which should start three weeks from now in Jerez.
With only 13 stages scheduled to date, any missed event will be disastrous for your ambition to fight for the title.
