LINK & CO

A NEW COMPOSED CROSSOVER

Lynk & Co continues to complete its vehicle offer little by little in order to gain more users. The last to see the light was the so-called ‘06’, which at 4.34 meters in length is a compact alternative to the already known Nissan Qashqai, Hyundai Tucson and KIA Sportage.
The new ‘06’ is the first model of the brand to receive the modular BMA platform, the same that has already debuted with Geely ICON and Coolray. It has a generous wheelbase of 2.64 meters and is adapted to receive various types of mechanics, including the increasingly demanded plug-in hybrids.
As usual in the Chinese brand, the design is very particular, but
it is done with good taste, while the modern and attractive cabin shows an excellent presentation with high quality materials. Electronics have a fundamental role, something that is already very common in today's cars.

Among the equipment possibilities, mention should be made of the navigator, intelligent LED headlights, leather upholstery, heated seats, blind spot detector, 360 degree camera, adaptive cruise control, automatic climate control, lane change alert, reader road signs, etc.

Under the hood the new Lynk & Co 06 hides a plug-in hybrid system that combines a 1.5 Turbo petrol engine with 177 hp with another electric that delivers 82 hp. In electric mode it will be able to cover about 55 km, although they have not yet communicated all the details. There will also be a Mild Hybrid (MHEV) version that will reduce costs.
Lynk & Co, in addition to China, is expected to reach most European markets throughout the year 2021, but in the last quarter of the year it will be possible to acquire some models of the brand in the Netherlands and Sweden. Prices and other details will be revealed shortly before commercialization, but we already know that they will not be cheap.
