Indy guide: Rahal Letterman Lanigan
Rahal Letterman Lanigan (RLL) is betting on continuity for this year's Indy season. Graham Rahal, the son of Bobby Rahal, one of the team's owners, and Takuma Sato, a driver backed by Honda, the team's engine supplier, are still on the team, which will also feature Spencer Pigot, who will race in Elkhart Lake and the 500 miles of Indianapolis.

Wins: 28
Poles Positions: 32
Titles: a Graham Rahal

It can not be denied that Graham Rahal is a fast and daring driver, but this yielded last year only problems for Bobby Rahal's son. Despite four top-5s and 11 top-10s in 2019, the pilot completed two seasons without winning a victory. Thus, the veteran will use 2020 to try to return to his big moment in Indy, which lasted from 2015 to 2017.
Takuma Sato(image above)
Birth: January 28, 1977
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Premiere: March 14, 2010 (São Paulo)
Indy starts: 169
Wins: 5
Poles positions: 9
You did not even notice and Takuma Sato will already go for his tenth season in Indy, once again defending Rahal Letterman Lanigan. Absurdly bold, the Japanese has had good performances of recent years (won races in 2017, 2018 and 2019) interspersed with low-level moments (like the accident caused in Pocono, last year). If you find this middle ground, you can even fight for the title.
Spencer Pigot(image above)
Birth: September 29, 1993
Location: Orlando, United States
Premiere: March 13, 2016 (St. Petersburg)
Indy starts: 56
Wins: None
Poles positions: none
After two seasons defending Carpenter full-time and failing to get frequently in the middle of the platoon, Pigot will have a much less extensive schedule this year: he will run only the Indy 500 and the double round of Road America. Despite this, it is in a team that has some of the strongest drivers on the grid.
