TRANSIT WONDER REAR LOUNGE BY LEISURE TRAVEL

If we learn anything from the appearance of trailers and motorhomes, it is that camping means very different things for each person. Each has its own needs, and for some, it is as simple as spending the night in a tent or under open skies, miles away from civilization. For others not.

Trailers and motorhomes continue to gain a high market share. Although in Brazil this type of vehicle is not very relevant, in other markets we find the most interesting proposals for obtaining an apartment on wheels.

A clear example of this is what Leisure Travel Vans proposes with the Wonder Rear Lounge, a motorhome based on the Ford Transit in its chassis-cabin version that combines luxury with a lot of technology to achieve a classy set with great packaging.

Its name is due to the huge hall that we can find at the rear of the vehicle, whose equipment is first class. There are huge reclining sofas, a pair of generous-sized windows, a 32-inch flat-screen television and a giant fold-out double bed.

In front of the lounge we have an independent shower with a door that, in turn, allows you to separate the vehicle into two parts. On the opposite side of the hall there is a sink and a toilet. If we move to the driver's seat, a kitchen and dining room appear.

There are multiple possible combinations to optimize the space, but in all of them there is a bench, a good-sized table and rotating benches. You can also configure a second bed in that space, in addition, there is no lack of an additional TV over the sink.
In terms of equipment, the vehicle has an ingenious home automation system called IoT Solution. It has 6 touch screens distributed throughout the cabin that allow you to monitor and control all the interior functions, such as lighting, temperature, gas, water, batteries, etc.
The Ford Transit on which it is based has a powerful 3.5-liter double-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine with 315 hp and 542 Nm of maximum torque. Prices start at a negligible $130,000 and deliveries begin this summer in the northern hemisphere.
