The Chinese brand Xpeng Motors prepares its arrival in Europe. Initially with a line that will be conformed by the Xpeng G3, an electric SUV inspired by the Tesla Model X, which will land in the Old Continent later this year.
It is a crossover that was offered for sale in China last year and which received very good reception in its domestic market, thanks to its attractive design, its good level of finishes and its complete equipment.
Its appearance cannot hide its similarities with the Tesla Model X, as according to the very words of the founder of the Asian brand, Tesla was the source of inspiration for the development of its electric cars, a line that also includes the P7 sedan. , which is very similar to the American brand’s Model 3.
Regarding the interior of the new Xpeng G3, a cabin appears that demonstrates that the similarities with Tesla do not end with the body, since the interior of the G3 is undoubtedly inspired by the Model S and Model X.

g3 por dentroThe 15.4-inch screen in the center of the panel stands out, in addition to an instrumentation practically modeled on that used by the models of the American manufacturer.
On the mechanical side, the Xpeng G3 will be equipped with an electric motor that develops 198 hp of power and a maximum torque of 300 Nm. It is combined with a 66.5 kWh battery and, according to the manufacturer, will be able to achieve an autonomy of 460 kilometers according to the WLTP approval cycle.
As for the equipment, this new Chinese electric SUV will feature the company's Xpilot self-piloted driving system, a system that is also inspired by the one used by Tesla. This driving system has a total of 20 sensors and five HD cameras, also counting on the support of a 360 degree camera system that will allow total control of what happens around the car.

xiaopeng g3Xpeng Motors has already sold more than 20,000 G3 units throughout 2019 and is now ready to land in Europe, initially in Norway, where the electric SUV will start from 398,000 kroner before government aid, about 224,000 reais at the current exchange rate.
