Stage 4-Trucks: SHIBALOV'S victory 

After spending almost the entire stage behind the leaders, Anton Shibalov (Kamaz) moved forward as he became more interested and secured his second stage victory this year, while teammate Andrey Karginov (Kamaz) finished second in the draw and is the new leader of the overall classification.
Siarhez Viazovich (Maz) was only sixth, more than a quarter of an hour from the best of the three Russian trucks that reserved for themselves the stage podium, and with this is now second of the general to the front 10: 43.
Anton Shibalov (Kamaz) is the third of the 15m02s of Karginov, with the fourth ranked being Martin Macik (Iveco) almost an hour away.



Anton Shibalov added a new victory in the 2020 Dakar in trucks and the race now has a new leader, Andrey Karginov. In this way, Kamaz regained command after a stage in which Siarhei Viazovich (MAZ) lost some ground.
To win, Shibalov (Kamaz) completed the timed section in 4h15m43s and surpassed fellow Karginov by 2m41s. moreover, the fight for victory ended up being between the two Russians, with Dmitry Sotnikov (Kamaz) further behind recovering to third in the final part of the tirade.
Fourth was Janus van Kasteren (Rooy Iveco's Petronas Team), while the top five was closed by Gert Huzink in a Renault of the Riwald Dakar Team. Viazovich, who entered this stage as leader, was only sixth to 15m42s from Shibalov. Mathias Behringer, at the South Racing man where the mechanic luso Bruno Sousa is, was 22.
In the overall classification, Karginov assumed command following with an already considerable advantage of 10: 43 against Viazovich.
