ALLISON E-AXLE SOLUTION IS IN EVALUATION ON THE POWERFUL MARK CLASS 8 TRUCK

Amid the global search for electrification in the commercial vehicle industry, Allison Transmission, a leader in commercial vehicle propulsion solutions, has announced the development of highly complete and efficient shafts for electric vehicles.
The Allison AXE Series propulsion system delivers electrical solutions that change the industry's viability to the market. Launched at Advanced Clean Technology (ACT) Expo 2019 in Long Beach, California, the AXE Series electric power train is being integrated into the Peterbilt 579EV Class 8 truck for evaluation and testing. As a result, the truck develops 1,475 horsepower (1,100 kilowatts), delivering efficiency and performance.
