Ayrton Senna's death still must have undisclosed images, says Brazilian journalist
The death of Ayrton Senna turned 25 on May 1, but even after so long, there are still mysteries about his fatal accident. Journalist Roberto Cabrini, who covered the San Marino Formula One Grand Prix in 1994, says there must be undisclosed images of the moment of the crash.
"There was a lot of evidence of manipulation this weekend of racing," said the reporter at Bola da Vez this week, which aired Sunday morning at 0:00 AM on ESPN Brazil and WatchESPN.
After the race, Formula 1 denied the existence of images from inside the car of Ayrton Senna, but Cabrini says that it was he who managed to force the big boss Bernie Ecclestone to divulge them.
"He gave me the pictures, only in one detail. Just at the moment of impact ... There is the whole back of Ayrton Senna, his last lap, and at the moment of impact, seconds before, the image is cut ", says the journalist.
"Their claim is that they cut the image to another car, but talking to television technicians, everyone thinks that's totally unlikely, and a lot of people claim they already saw that image," he said.
To listen to this and other stories of the reporter Roberto Cabrini, do not miss the Bola da Vez that airs on Sunday morning at 0:00 a.m. on ESPN Brasil, with a reprise on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. and also 0:00 am on the same channel.
