FÓRMULA-1

Tests: Ferrari leads second day
It was another day in shades of red. Charles Leclerc led for almost the whole day the times table at the Circuit de Catalunya. The Ferrari man was the fastest in the session and was at the level of his teammate Sebastian Vettel, who tested it yesterday.
Lando Norris finished a positive day for McLaren with the second half. Unlike previous times, the two days of testing have run smoothly. The young man made no mistakes and ends the day near the top. In third place was Kevin Magnussen, who despite the late start with problems in his Haas, made the third best mark, before delivering the car to Pietro Fittipaldi, who did the last two hours of the test, due to a day was marked by the exit of track of Alexander Albon, soon in the first return of the day, in which lost control of his Toro Rosso, due to a problem in the direction. Also Daniel Ricciardo caught a fright, with part of the rear wing loosening at the end of the goal line (with DRS activated) which led to the Australian's runway near the end of the morning session. At last Pierre Gasly caused the second red flag of the day, with a runway exit just over an hour from the end of the session.
The Ferrari showed again a good progress and seems to be the team in better shape for now. Mercedes, by choice or not, has been discreet, making many laps, but far from the progress of Ferrari and Red Bull had good notes, but also something far from the progress of Ferrari. But it's just assumptions and it takes more time to draw deeper conclusions.
In the fight for the middle of the table, Renault is not yet to impress but the plan, with a focus on reliability, Alfa Romeo seems to be well and showed potential. Haas had a day of mixed feelings, but the numbers are not discouraging, just as Racing Point and Williams did not show up on the track. The car has not yet reached the Catalan track and is expected to arrive tomorrow in the early hours of the day, hoping to get on the track in the afternoon session. For Toro Rosso it was day to give track time to Albon that despite one or two scares, was well.
For today the teams will dismantle all the cars and analyze the pieces, while the engineers analyze the telemetry and the pilots are in charge of the physiotherapists to recover from a session that take place without major stops.
