RALLY DAKAR 2019

Step 2: Walkner defeats Brabec
The second round of the 2019 edition of the Dakar is completed, a journey that forced competitors to travel 342 kilometers and that linked Pisco to San Juan de Marcona.
The day was marked by a lively battle between Ricky Brabec and Matthias Walkner with the feud to fall to the side of the latter, although the turn was almost entirely led by Brabec. A titanic fight that left its two drivers separated by 22 seconds.
It was followed by Joan Barreda Bort, who opened the 'track' in the face of being the strongest on yesterday. Barreda Bort was more defensive today and gave 1'41s to Matthias Walkner. Despite the loss, the Spaniard continues to lead the race but now 1m31s ahead of Matthias Walkner, who is the new runner-up. In addition, tomorrow will not open the shot and may be on the attack again. Alexandre Melo, direto de Portugal
