A redesigned cylinder head decreased by 1.1 kg of its weight, and a new box of only 5 speeds was also coupled to the engine. In short, the Husqvarna FS 450 of 2019 weighs just 102.8 kg dry ... which will not be easy to beat by the competition.locate to the new frame.

The plastics have been redesigned to make the bike more compact and the chain adjustment groove is now 5mm longer. The handlebar is still provided by ProTaper, but its format is now different. Husqvarna also redirected the throttle cable to another position to facilitate its maintenance, and altered the exhaust to make it more compact, keeping the 63 hp of power and extending the torque range. The polypropylene tank may contain about 7 liters and the fuel tubes have also been repositioned.

Traction control and start-up control are standard on the model and have also been upgraded to 2019 and include a clutch with Suter's start-up control also originating in the model. The FS 450 comes with Bridgestone 125/80 R420 and 165/65 R420 tires. The braking power is provided by Brembo and includes a 310mm petal front disc and a 220mm rear. The wheels are 16.5 "at the front and 17" at the rear, both Alpina.
