LEAK IMAGES OF THE NEW AUDI A1

A few days ago the German manufacturer began to disclose a number of advances of the new generation of the Audi A1, but as it usually occurs in these cases, the first official images showing the German model completely leaked online, watering the Ingolstadt brand party, who was preparing a special event to present the new model to the public.

These first images of the Audi A1 2019, which will be presented soon, reveal its exterior appearance, as well as its interior design. We are in front of the images corresponding to the new A1 with the package S-Line, so this version includes some external additions that enhance its dynamic aspect.

On the front side, it features a large air intake, as well as a hinged mesh grille and well-designed headlights that integrate LED daytime running lights. On the sides, the model retains the characteristic arches against the tone, as well as the ceiling, which can come in a tone different from that of the body.

Although the manufacturer has not yet confirmed, everything seems to indicate that just like the SEAT Ibiza and Volkswagen Polo, the new Audi A1 will be offered only with the five-door (Sportback) bodywork, since the low sales of the 3-door version do not seem justify the investment.

In the interior, the MMI touch display is a great touch screen, a fully integrated display that will focus on the main functions of the new Audi A1, as well as the configurable digital instrumentation Audi virtual cockpit.

The engine lineup will include the 115-hp 1.0 liter three-cylinder turbo engine that is also used by the Ibiza and Polo, as well as the new 1.5 TSI EVO that develops 150 horsepower that equips the Golf. Later, the Audi S1 will arrive, with an estimated power of 250 hp and all-wheel drive.
