AN ELECTRIC URBAN WITH 300 KM OF AUTONOMY

With the success that companies like Tesla are having in creating electric cars, more and more startups are emerging who are daring to create their own models. This is the case of the small Swedish company Uniti, which was able to build a fully functional prototype of an urban electric model. Its name is Uniti One and announces a range of 300 kilometers, despite having a size similar to that of the Smart Fortwo. With a simple, slightly futuristic design, this small two-seater features a panoramic windshield with very thin A-pillars to improve driver visibility. Something that is very useful when maneuvering in urban environments.

As you can see in the pictures, the car is not driven through a steering wheel, but with a command similar to that of some airplanes. Although this may be a detail included in the prototype that probably will not come to be a reality in the production model. In the center it has a tablet that offers all the information about the vehicle and the entire interior is illuminated with LED ambient lights.The autonomy announced by the company for Uniti One is up to 300 kilometers thanks to a 22 kWh battery.





Its charging speed is 3 hours and 10 minutes thanks to a quick recharge kit, which is compatible with DC charging. But what is more important, thanks to this kit can achieve a load for 200 kilometers with only 30 minutes plugged into the power grid.The Uniti One has a top speed of 130 km / h and an acceleration of 0 to 80 km / h in 3.5 seconds. A performance that makes it a suitable vehicle for both the city and the road. In addition, the company announced that it is working on a four-person version.Although it is still a prototype, Uniti One is already priced. It can be purchased for just under 19,900 euros. But this amount may vary depending on the taxes of each country. The company also accepts orders by order, with an advance payment of 149 euros, which according to those responsible are "refundable at any time".
