BRAND SHOWS A VIDEO OF THE RIGID 2019 NEW RANGER DEVELOPMENT
The new Ford Ranger 2019 was unveiled at the latest Detroit Motor Show in 2018. The new generation of Ford's global pick-up will land for the first time on the American market, where it will be in the mid-size pickup segment, a segment that was not served by Ford for years. His arrival in the United States will be in early 2019, so the Dearborn brand is already beginning to advance with promotional material, such as this video, where we can see some of the most eye-catching scenes from the model's development tests. These tests were carried out in part in the laboratory, where the brand used simulation equipment and robots to submit the new Ranger specimens to different and harsh conditions, with the sole purpose of discovering the limits of the model and its various systems. But actual field tests remain a fundamental pillar of the model's development, as can also be seen in the video below. The new Ranger 2019 will reach a segment where it will have as competitors the renewed pickups Chevrolet Colorado and Toyota Tacoma, so it will not be as simple as it seems.
The brand has not yet revealed the full composition of the line, nor has it officially confirmed its presence on the Ranger Raptor line, which was introduced in some Asian markets, but in the United States remains a mystery. But everyone takes its inclusion on the line as certain. The American lineup will feature an off-road FX4 package with off-road chassis improvements such as a new suspension, specific steel protectors and off-road tires. The result of this optional package can be seen in the trail scenes of the new model's video.
