FIAT

Fiat FCC Adventure
Forgotten concepts: Fiat FCC Adventure
Fiat's 30-year party in Brazil came with a concept made by the brand's Style Center in the country, the FCC (Fiat Concept Car) Adventure. The idea was to take all the elements that form a car of the line Adventure (the Idea had just been released in this version) and put in a model with futuristic footprint. The exercise gave rise to a hatch with proportion of sport, only that with suspension high to have a good angle of entrance and exit and height of the superior ground.

It draws attention to its exaggerated proportions for a coupe. The roof trim is well accented, the wheeled boxes are quite large, even more so than the 18-inch wheels with the huge Pirelli PZero 285/60 tires. Instead of having a trunk, it has a small area with the spare tire, protected by the rest of the roof and a rear wing. This part lifts like a trunk lid, to give access to the spare tire, as in some rally cars.

As if it was not enough to have a different design, Fiat still showed the concept with the body painted in metallic orange Tricoat. It changes its tone according to the lighting, changing from yellow to red. The interior is no less flashy, finished in black, silver and orange, seats also orange shell and with five-point seat belts. Even the steering wheel was flashy, with the Fiat logo very large, next to the instrument panel brought right from the Adventure Idea.

The engine was borrowed from the Stilo Abarth with the 2.4 Fivetech 20V five-cylinder engine, which generates 167 hp at 5,750 rpm and 22.8 kgfm of torque at 3,500 rpm, combined with the 5-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. It had some unique details, such as a self-locking differential and independent suspension on both axles, using multiples in the rear rather than the torsion axis as in Stilo.
As it was a design exercise for the Brazilian studio team, it did not give rise to any model. But it did succeed anyway. In addition to attracting the public at the 2006 Motor Show, he was taken to Europe and presented at the Bologna Salon (Italy).
