GS ADVENTURE LINE WIN AN INDEPENDENT DIGITAL PANEL

Key route and motorcycle information, route statistics based on previous trips, plus the ability to listen to music and even make calls from your phone, all appearing securely and intuitively on the new 6.5-inch high-definition screen from BMW Motorrad. These are some highlights of the new TFT digital panel available from this month on the BMW R 1200 (GS and Adventure) line of BMW Motorrad in Brazil.The new digital dashboard, which manages the motorcycles produced in Manaus (AM), replaces the previous analogue and was designed by the engineers of BMW Motorrad Germany to maintain the vision of the driver always on the highway.Information on speedometer, engine speed, temperature, time, gait position, fuel level, track speed, tire runtime and tire pressure are displayed clearly and directly on the display.

In addition, the new dashboard offers state-of-the-art navigation with up-to-date traffic information and the option to access the phone's audio and telephony features through the free BMW Motorrad Connected app available from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, being pioneer in bringing such guidelines to the biker's daily commutes.

It is possible to access the functions of the digital panel through the multi-controller, located on the left hand side of the motorcycle, to ensure that the pilot's hands remain on the motorcycle's handlebars and there are no distractions. There is also the integrated communication system to the smartphone and the helmet, when equipped with the BMW Motorrad Communication System, which connect via Bluetooth to the digital panel, sharing the information desired by the driver.
