BRAND OF BAVIERA PRESENTS 9CENT CONCEPT

A mix of sport and adventure, dynamic and fun, made to go downhill, ride in the city or accelerate on the road: the concept BMW Motorrad 9cento represents for the BMW Group a look ahead of the Sport Touring segment and was shown in this year's edition of Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, which occurred last weekend, from 25 to 27 May, on the edge of Lake Como (Italy).Compact, volume centered on the front and rear high and short, the 9cento offers fun and agile piloting.

Lightness is guaranteed by carbon fiber and aluminum elements in the construction. The striking styling appears on the symmetrical LED headlamps and lanterns and the three-dimensional modeling of the fuel tank. With ergonomic controls, low seat position and suspension set for long trips, comfort is assured in that far-away escape. When it comes to storing your belongings, the innovative, adjustable, removable compartment attached to the rear extends to increase the area of the passenger seat, thus creating a multi-purpose motorcycle.

"It's not about being always bigger, bolder and brighter. This motorcycle is concerned with achieving a sense of balance, "says Edgar Heinrich, Head of Design at BMW Motorrad, about the new paradigm the concept represents for the future of the brand. "We created a motorcycle that blends the best of the sporting, touring and adventurous segments, opening a segment not yet explored by BMW Motorrad.

Functionalities such as autonomy, luggage compartment and wind protection are useful to most motorcyclists on a daily basis, but are rarely in concept vehicles. The BMW Motorrad 9cento demonstrates that these rational aspects can be wrapped in a dynamic design, offering a thought-provoking and emotional product. "
