GERMAN BRAND RENASCE WITH AN ELECTRIC COUPE
In this edition of the Salon of Beijing 2018 appeared an unexpected surprise. The German brand Isdera has returned to the scene with the presentation of an attractive electric coupe with doors of seagull wings, which will have a production so limited that can practically be considered as unique pieces.Isdera is a small German handicraft manufacturer that was founded in 1969 in the city of Hildesheim with the intention of manufacturing the strange sporting Isdera Imperator 108i, a type of superstar with inspiration and mechanics Mercedes-Benz created by Eberhard Schulz, former engineer of the mark of the star . After a few specimens manufactured in the 90s, Isdera presented its next model, a spectacular supersport called the Isdera Commendatore 112i that also had the Mercedes-Benz engine, but which featured a number of technical and design elements from Porsche.

After years in the silence, suddenly this week appears in Beijing the emblem of the Isdera, adorning a beautiful coupe of stylized forms and doors of seagull wings, but with an electric mechanic.The new model is named after its predecessor, but now features the GT emblem and a very current style, and of course, very different from the models of dramatic shapes that the German manufacturer presented previously.

For now it is very complex to clarify where the genesis of the project really lies. It is not yet known whether a Chinese company has acquired Isdera's rights or whether it is still active and associated with some company in the Chinese market. The Beijing Motor Show has announced the launch of new SUV typology models to be manufactured and sold in China by Weima, the Chinese partner of Isdera.

The new Commendatore GT has an electric scheme consisting of two engines with a power of 400 hp, which are powered by a battery pack of 105 kWh which allows you up to 500 kilometers of autonomy. Its performance is quite relevant as it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds, and if it continues to accelerate it reaches 200 km / h in 9.8 seconds. Its maximum speed is set at 250 km / h.But the most striking number of this amazing project is that of its production, because only 2 copies will be manufactured.
