THE FIFTH GENERATION OF RENAULT CLIO

Although the development of the new generation of the Renault Clio has begun some time ago, until now the units that had emerged as prototypes still used the body of the current generation. But this week images of the Renault Clio V appeared wearing his definitive body, although the dense camouflage still prevented knowing the details.The new Renault Clio 2019 was photographed while taking road tests on open roads in Europe and although it is still too early to enjoy it deeply, the first images already allow you to realize what your profile will be, which will not mean a revolution in terms of design , but an evolution that will follow the line of the new Mégane, but in a reduced scale.



The fifth generation of the Renault Clio will be based on the CMF-2 platform, the same architecture that will also give life to the next generation of Captur and Nissan Micra. The use of this architecture will allow the new Clio 2019 to have a better use of the interior space, with a larger area for occupants of the rear seats and a larger trunk, as well as the possibility of using a semi-hybrid mechanics.
The interior will have important changes, as it will debut a revolutionary interior, with a panel inspired by the Renault Trezor Concept. It will feature configurable digital instrumentation, a new, larger touch screen infotainment system, plus the latest technologies in driving assists and even a level 2 stand-alone driving system.









The engine line of the new Clio will feature gasoline engines and to a lesser extent the diesel blocks, but the great mechanical novelty will be the incorporation of the micro-hybridization technology 'mild-hybrid' recently released by the new generation of Renault Scénic.
The new generation of the Renault model is already underway and its arrival on the market is scheduled for next year, so throughout this year of 2018 we will be able to meet you at some of the automotive events that will take place in the coming months.
