Citroen in front of shakedown

Reporting: José Luis Abreu, de Portugal

Kris Meeke and Citroën were the fastest in the shakedown of the Mexico Rally with Thierry Neuville putting his Hyundai i20 WRC just three tenths behind. Sébastien Ogier was third to 1.8s of Meeke, which without proving much, shows at least that the Citroën is competitive, and the records are reliable as to the order of departure, since the best times were all of course made in the third passages.
In the first four places were four cars of the four different brands present in the WRC.
Sébastien Loeb made just the tenth fastest time, at 4.5 seconds behind his team-mate Kris Meeke.
The rally begins during the early morning of mainland Portugal with the Street Stage GTO.
