DOMANIG 'DELIVERY' 769 CV AND 960 NM IN AMG-GTThe Merecedes-AMG GT R comes more powerful and aggressive. This is a preparation of Domanig Autodesign, which managed to take the German super sports to limits unimaginable until now.Developed in collaboration with another preparer, IMSA, this GT R project was born with the addition of larger turbos in its 4.0-liter V8 engine. The engineers also tampered with the exhaust system and created a more sporty air filter, and also installed an extra radiator.

As a result of these adjustments, the eight-cylinder engine had its power increased to 769 hp, and its maximum torque increased to 960 Nm. A significant increase if we take into account that the Mercedes-AMG GT-R comes standard with a power of 577 hp and 700 Nm of maximum torque.





In this result, the optimization of the engine electronics and the reconfiguration of the transmission software also helped.Thanks to this new configuration, the Mercedes-AMG GT R prepared by Domanig Autodesign is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in only 2.9 seconds. Its maximum speed has been increased from the 318 km / h that reaches standard to 330 km / h, limited electronically.In addition to the powertrain of its V8 engine, Domanig Autodesign adjusted the suspension by lowering the car by about 30 mm. In addition, the wheels are five-spoke with the front measuring now 20 inches and the rear 21 inches, being paved by Michelin Super Sport high performance tires.
