After being revealed through a teaser, the new TechRules Ren RS was officially presented online, within hours of being shown to the public at the Geneva Motor Show 2018.The new Ren RS is the track-only version of the Chinese project TechRules, which now looses TechRules Ren's curious three-seater housing revealed in the last edition of the Swiss event and was designed by Giugiaro. The new Ren RS fits neatly with the prototype photos shown earlier of this hybrid vehicle design, with a narrow single-seat passenger compartment and cockpit-type roof instead of conventional doors, as well as a considerable rear aerofoil.

The first thing that strikes these official images of the new Ren RS is that the body that appeared to be gray is actually carbon fiber in sight. All elements are of this material and throughout the car appears this texture naked, except in the parts where there are spellings and in the few details in red.The technical blueprint is expected, similar to what was announced for TechRules Ren in 2017, although the company had now revealed all the specifications.This model is driven by electric motors that are powered by a diesel turbine. There are two versions available, with four or six electric motors. In all cases there are two engines driving the front wheels, while in the rear there may be two or four engines.The most basic version has 870 hp and 1,560 Nm of maximum torque, while the most powerful, equipped with six electric motors, develops 1,350 hp and 2,340 Nm of maximum torque. In any case, the performance on the track must be brutal, although the performance numbers are not from another world, since it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 3 seconds and its maximum speed is 330 km / H.
