ASIATIC BRAND PRESENTS THE RENEWED MUSSO

Last month SsangYong unveiled the first image of the new Musso, and now at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show the Korean brand has released a series of official images that let you enjoy the new pick-up in every detail.Just over a year ago Korando Sports abandoned its denomination in the United Kingdom to be renamed as SsangYong Musso (see here), the same denomination that now adopts the new generation of the model for the European market, which is based on the Rexton platform .The model will arrive to replace Actyon Sports and will unify its denomination to the several international markets, taking back a name that the Korean brand used since the last decade of last century, since in some countries was until now also known as Korando Sports.







The new SsangYong Musso has a capacity for five passengers, while its cargo platform has a volume of 1,011 liters and a capacity of 1 ton.The initial mechanical supply of the new SsangYong Musso features the same 2.2-liter e-XDi220 turbocharged diesel engine, which develops a power of 180 hp with a maximum torque of 420 Nm, arising coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission or an automatic Aisin of equal amount of relations.It will be available with a four-wheel drive system that works automatically and that under normal conditions uses the rear traction and a self-locking differential.





Regarding the equipment, the new Musso will have a complete and similar good to that offered in Rexton, which includes the latest safety technologies and driving aids including ABS, EBD, ESP, TPMS, front, side and side airbags. curtain, involuntary shift warning, traffic signal reader, pre-collision alert, autonomous city braking, blind spot alert, automatic main-beam headlamps, etc.Its marketing will begin during the second half of this year, but for now the Korean manufacturer has not disclosed what their prices will be.
