INDYCAR
BOURDAIS LONG IN FRONT IN 2018
Indy started the 2018 season in style. Yesterday (11), in a chaotic race in St. Petersburg, Sébastien Bourdais saw the victory fall on his lap when Alexander Rossi beat Robert Wickens. Thus the Frenchman of modest Dale Coyne closes the first stage of the championship as leader for the second year in a row.Graham Rahal had a very troubled streak, but nevertheless still held second place in St. Pete and, consequently, the runner-up of the championship. Rossi, despite the crash, appears in third place.James Hinchcliffe had a good run and was fourth, ahead of Ryan Hunter-Reay, who had many ups and downs. Scott Dixon, on a very inspired journey, still saved the sixth place and made his first 28 points.Current champion, Josef Newgarden did not have a dream debut, but saved 26 points in seventh place. The top-10 of the race and the championship still has Ed Jones, Marco Andretti and Will Power.
