Two General Motors announcements for this New York 2018 Show are the new GMC Acadia Black Edition 2019 and GMC Terrain Black Edition 2019, two new versions for the SUV line that has a specific design package available on some versions of the line.Both models are relatively new, the GMC Acadia debuted in 2016 as a 2017 model and for the time being has not received any updates, while the current GMC Terrain was unveiled last year in Detroit, so it is SUV that has just arrived to the market, in its 2018 model.This new optional package, available only for some finishing levels, affects the complete aesthetics of both models, with specific elements and finishes that give them a blackout aesthetic, totally darkened, as the name of the edition suggests. But in fact, this package is available in various body tones, all belonging to the regular color line of both models.The new Terrain Black Edition package will be available only with SLE and SLT finish levels, and among the elements that make up this package come 19-inch aluminum wheels with glossy black finish, front grille and black trim, the same tone used for exterior mirror housings, ceiling rails and all external ornamental elements, such as frames, which usually receive a chrome finish.
The available body colors are five: Ebony Twilight Metallic, Summit White, Graphite Gray Metallic, Satin Steel Metallic and the new Sedona Metallic tone.In the case of the Acadia Black Edition package, this will be available only on the SLT level and includes 20-inch wheels also aluminum and glossy black finish. All external elements are black or darkened, such as grille, optics, mirrors and custom chrome. The body colors available with this package are: White Front Tricoat, Dark Sky Metallic, Metallic Smokey Quartz, Ebony Twilight Metallic and Summit White.Both will be presented to the public at the New York Hall and will be available starting in the summer. The company has not yet revealed the exact date.
