FPT MOTOR ESTABLISHES SPEED RECORD IN WATER

FPT Industrial is now part of the history of speed records. Fabio Buzzi, a world champion in boat races and CEO of FB Design, established the highest speed in the water using a diesel engine developed by FPT Industrial and a hull developed by FB Design.
The record, recognized by Guinness World Records, was broken on Wednesday (7) on Lake Como, Italy, when the three-hull reached a speed of 277.5 km / h, about 25.5 km / ha more than the previous record.

Working together, FPT Industrial and FB Design have converted a Cursor 16 engine, commonly used in agricultural applications, to a marine engine capable of generating more than 1,720 horsepower.
