NISSAN 370Z WILL HAVE A SUBSTITUTE IN 2020
The current Nissan 370Z already accumulates nine years on its back and although it was believed that the sport of the Japanese brand would not have a direct successor, the latest rumors suggest that the new generation of the 370Z already is in development and that will arrive at the market in one maximum period of two years.It seems that Nissan does not want to be left behind due to the imminent launch of the new generation of the Toyota Supra and that is why the Japanese manufacturer is preparing a new heir of the saga of sports 'Z' that although does not have an official name, may adopt the name Nissan 400Z.According to the first information provided by the manufacturer, the replacement of the 370Z will be much larger than the current model, as it will be 30 centimeters longer. It will measure 4,520 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width and 1,240 mm in height.Regarding its mechanics, although the new 'Z' continues the tradition maintaining the rear propulsion configuration, it is very likely that it will strip off the aspirated engine, which could be replaced by a turbocharged engine of smaller displacement. The 3.7-liter, 328-hp V6 could give rise to the well-known 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo that will develop a power output of around 400 bhp, which will reduce fuel consumption while increasing power.As usual, the model will feature a more extreme version that will carry the signature of Nismo, which will squeeze the V6 biturbo engine until it reaches 480 horsepower. In addition, rumors indicate that the Japanese manufacturer wants the Nissan 400Z Nismo to adopt a full-traction configuration.The arrival of this new member of the 'Z' saga is scheduled for the year 2020, but it would not be strange if the car debuted as a prototype in one of the car shows that will take place this year.
