CAMARO SVE YENKO / SC STAGE II COMES WITH 1.014 HP
EVS experts have not settled for the 811 hp of their Yenko 2017 Camaro and for this new year have already prepared a new version on the Camaro SS, the new Camaro Yenko Stage II 2018.For now only a few images of the model were shown, but the numbers announced are jaw-dropping. This new model has an evolution of the Camaro SS V8 LT1 engine, but raised to 6.8 liters and with a compressor that allows to raise the power up to 1,014 hp and 1,185 Nm of torque, having its aiming strap pointed directly at the Camaro 'The Exorcist 'from Hennessey Performance, which yields a very similar yield.In the images offered by the EVS of this new version Stage II, there are practically no aesthetic differences compared to the 2017 version, since it has the same body kit of very sober design, and the same wheels of classic style of 20 inches, but in the model 2018 the wheels are black. In addition, including the huge air intake of the hood, everything seems to be the same.In the chassis configuration we continue to find the same recipe, with the Camaro's magnetic dampers, electronic limited slip differential and enhanced suspension with new stabilizer bars. The brake system features Brembo elements with 14.5-inch disks at the front and 13.3-inches at the rear axle.For now, these few data have been released and will be manufactured in limited edition. There will be only 25 units in total, all with a coupe body and manual transmission, but the price and availability date is still unknown.Remembering that the name Yenko is as important to the fans of the Camaro as Shelby is to those of the Mustang. Don Yenko was a Chevrolet dealer who became famous for being the only one to market the Camaro equipped with the desired Big-Block 7.0-liter engines. GM did not allow it and Chevrolet did not have that option on the muscle car line, so anyone who wanted a Camaro with these engines should turn to Don Yenko's dealer.
