TATA MOTORS

VISION OF THE BRAND IN RELATION TO THE FUTURE OF SUVS

TATA unveiled a series of conceptual models at the Auto Expo 2018 in New Delhi. It featured the TATA 45X Concept, with which the Indian brand wants to show its vision on the future of the compact that will circulate in the big cities, and now with this other concept car, called the TATA H5X Concept, the brand anticipates the future of SUVs in its view. But in addition to showing the manufacturer's future vision for this type of vehicle, it also positions itself as an advance of the line that will have the SUVs that TATA will launch in the market in a few years. Both in terms of design and technology and capabilities. Therefore, the TATA H5X Concept will be very present in future developments of the company. This is the first model of the brand that uses the design language Impact 2.0.

Aesthetically, the H5X does not hide some influence of the most iconic models of Land Rover. The size, the bulky shapes and the prominent front are some characteristic features of the British brand. The exterior has countless lines of expression, very strong fenders, as well as different traces that remind us at all times that we are not facing a production vehicle. The thin LED headlights, the shape of the grille and the taillights are a clear example of this.If we take a look at the images of the passenger compartment, an interior laden with technology emerges. Features a fully digital instrument cluster attached directly to the screen that crowns the center console. Something very similar to the system used by Mercedes-Benz. In the central console there are few physical controls, thus resorting to a touch surface. The same happens with the multifunction steering wheel.

Another key of the TATA H5X Concept is that it is the first vehicle mounted on the new global platform that TATA has developed in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover. It is an architecture derived from the Land Rover D8 and was timely modified and geared to meet the needs of Indian drivers.

Dimensions (mm) of the TATA H5X Concept:
Length - 4,575
Width - 1,960
Height - 1,686
Between-Axles - 2,740
TATA has not provided much detail on the mechanical part that drives this concept car, but simply provides excellent performance and durability and underneath your hood is a diesel powered engine.
