The new Peugeot Rifter replaces the old Peugeot Partner, and on that occasion takes on an SUV inspiration to define its more robust and youthful appearance. The Peugeot Rifter has the Advanced Grip Control system, which optimizes the traction for different types of tread, and we already know of other models of the French manufacturer and also the Hill Assist Descent Control, known system of models like the Peugeot 3008, and that maintains an optimized speed on steep descents. But the big news is an all-wheel drive version, called the 4 × 4 Rifter, for now still a concept. The development of this version was a joint effort with Peugeot's longtime partner, Dangel - a company that is dedicated to transforming Peugeot models, adding full-wheel drive and off-road capabilities. The Peugeot Rifter 4 × 4 Concept features four BF Goodrich AllTerrain all-terrain tires, which allow for better progression on more damaged or slippery terrain. It is also notable for the greater height of the ground, higher in 80 mm, as well as the wheels driven by the specific tires. The concept, which will be presented at the next Geneva Motor Show, is also highlighted by several details in strong yellow, in contrast to the matte black of the hood, as well as by the signature 'RIFTER' on the side and the rear window. The different colors and materials extend to the interior, with specific benches with black Alcantara, seams in the same yellow tone, and some more details.Equipping this version is the BlueHDi 130 hp engine, with six-speed manual transmission and a maximum torque of 300 Nm.

The 4 × 4 transmission is activated by means of a viscous coupling system, operated by a hand-held selector switch on the dashboard to the right of the gearbox lever, and with three driving modes - '2WD', '4WD 'and' Lock '. The first allows a traction only on the front axle, for day-to-day, while the second one tries to send power to the rear wheels, when necessary, and automatically. Of course the 'Lock' mode, blocks the traction on all four wheels for more extreme situations of obstacle transposition.Far from the cities, the Peugeot Rifter 4 × 4 Concept may have a range of LED lights on the top of the windshield. Curved and with a width of 1.35 m, it integrates an alignment of 100 LEDs, divided by two rows.In addition, the Rifter 4 × 4 Concept is also equipped with an Overland camping tent, developed by Autohome, with mattress covered with the same foldable textile to easily integrate into the volume of the tent.
The Peugeot Rifter 4 × 4 Concept also features the BTT Peugeot eM02 FS Powertube, an electric bike with integrated battery, being the first of the brand's new generation of eBikes.
