3-ELEVEN: THE FASTEST MODEL ALREADY MANUFACTURED BY BRAND

Lotus is developing a new generation of sports vehicles, but before they reach the market in 2020, consumers will be able to purchase a latest version of the iconic 3-Eleven. The British manufacturer has introduced its most advanced homologated vehicle, the Lotus 3-Eleven 430, a special version limited to only 20 units that announces the end of production of the model.Underneath the hood is a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of producing 430 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. According to Lotus, the 3-Eleven 430 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km / h. Compared to the previous 3-Eleven, these figures represent an improvement of 0.2 seconds in acceleration time and 6 km / h in the maximum speed record.







The V6 engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission and the traction is controlled by a Torsen-type differential.Confirming its announced performance, the 3-Eleven 430 set a new record in Lotus's test circuit in Hethel. It took 1:24 minutes to complete a lap, meaning it was 0.8 seconds faster than the Exige Cup 430 and took 2 seconds less than the previous 3-Eleven.According to Lotus, the performance of the 3-Eleven 430 is not just due to engine power. The model has an aluminum chassis and a body that integrates carbon fiber, and in addition, underwent an aerodynamic review that improved the downforce by 44 kg for a total of 265 kg at full speed.
