Rosberg predicts Hamilton five-time F1 champion in 2018
The moments before the opening of the preseason are fertile ground for predictions, whether it be fans, experts or even former riders. Nico Rosberg, retired five days after winning his only world title in 2016, also did not shy away from giving his guess. In the view of the former German driver, Lewis Hamilton will win the pentacampeonato this season. But the Briton will not have easy life."My prediction matches what happened last year. So Lewis Hamilton will win, this time with just one point ahead of Sebastian Vettel, "Rosberg said during an interview with German radio station RTL.In fact, 2017 had everything to be a championship decided only in the last race of the season. But Vettel faced a series of problems and bad luck in the Asian final phase of the championship, such as the start of the Singapore GP, engine failures in Japan and Malaysia and also a touch with Hamilton himself at the start of the Mexican GP.Vettel's advantage, which came to be 25 points for Hamilton after his victory at the Monaco Grand Prix, was reduced to dust. In the end, Lewis won the four-time title with 46 points in front of his main oponent.

Speaking about who hopes to complete the top five in the championship, Rosberg has left off the list of champions Kimi Räikkönen of Ferrari and Fernando Alonso of McLaren. "After [Lewis and Vettel], Valtteri Bottas and the two Red Bulls, Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo."
Responses to Rosberg's predictions will begin to be answered on March 25, the opening date of the 2018 F1 World Championship season with the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park in Melbourne.
