DAF Trucks presents special series 90th Anniversary Edition in Europe
DAF was founded in Holland 90 years ago by Hub van Doorme, and the company is today one of the most successful in Europe, operating in many countries around the world. In Brazil it officially arrived in 2011 and started operations in 2013. To commemorate the company's 90th anniversary, Van Doorne's Automobiel Fabriek introduced the XF Euro6 90th Anniversary Edition in Europe.The model comes exclusively in the Super Space Cab version, with a 530 horsepower Paccar MX-13 engine, and a premium package of exclusive items. The series is limited to only 250 units, divided into 4 × 2 versions for Europe and 6 × 2 for the UK and Ireland. All vehicles are numbered, with a nameplate inside the cabin and door sill, which is especially illuminated.





There are three colors available, being Anniversary Black, Rouge Flamme and Jamaica Blue. The front grille receives colored stripes in blue or red, showing the uniqueness of the model. On all sides of the cabin is the DAF's historical logo, which has been fitted with the first models since 1928.



The cabin has air suspension and is the most spacious, flat floor version. In addition there are LED headlamps, skylight in the ceiling, air deflector, side skirts and aluminum wheels, as well as air horns mounted on the ceiling. The seats are Xtra Leather with air suspension and the logo of the special version on the back, plus special logos on the doors, dashboard and in the multi-media system. All the finish is leather, and the model also has special climate control, refrigerator, TruckPhone, microwave, bunk and Night Lock.Those lucky enough to get a DAF truck from this edition will also receive a leather handbag, a leather jacket, a personalized DAF Waterman pen, a wallet and a sketch of the 90th Anniversary Edition signed by DAF chief designer Bart van Lotringen.
