ABT SPORTLINE 'REDEFINES' RS4

The Audi RS4 Avant ABT Sportsline will be one of the innovations that can be seen at the Salon de Genève 2018. For the time being, the German preparer is offering only one power kit for the new Audi RS4 Avant 2018. It is a 'simple' control module for the 2.9 V6 twin-turbo engine that permanently adjusts more than 25 propeller parameters. Named ABT Engine Control (AEC), it guarantees, according to the brand, an optimization in power delivery without compromising the structural integrity of the mechanics.

As a result, the Audi RS4 Avant ABT Sportsline has a power output of 450 to 510 hp and 600 Nm to 680 Nm. The first generation of the model, the RS4 Avant (B5), produced only 380 hp and 440 Nm, therefore, this offers 130 additional cv and what is more shocking, 240 Nm more than torque. In short, this powerful van is close to the performance of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Estate, which reaches 510 hp and 700 Nm.
The latter accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds, the same number offered by the RS4 Avant as standard. It is therefore expected that the Audi RS4 Avant modified by ABT will lower that figure and put it below the 4 second barrier. In addition to the powertrain kit, the ABT offers a sportier suspension to minimize body balances, as well as several options for 20-inch alloy wheels. Further on, ABT will likely launch an aesthetic package that will further enhance the appeal of the model.
