RALLY DAKAR 2018
Dakar, Carlos Sainz says he has not touched the quad
According to ASO, quads' driver Kees Koolen has made no complaint against Peugeot riders Carlos Sainz and Stéphane Peterhansel not even against Mini's Yazeed Al Rajhi but even so at least the two Peugeot riders are being heard by the Stewards. Despite the ASO denial, Carlos Sainz, Lucas Cruz and Bruno Famin spoke to the Commissioners, supposedly because the Dutch driver Kees Koolen, was touched by a car and was not rescued afterwards, being allegedly involved, Peugeot de Sainz and Peterhansel, and Al Rajhi's Mini, which is no longer even in the race.

Publicly, Sainz has already said that he saw the Dutch driver and that he diverted to let his Peugeot pass. In doing so, as there was a lot of mud, he admits that Koolen may have lost control of his quad, but insists that at no time did he touch the quad rider. It was TVE in its Teledeporte program, which referred to the Dutchman's alleged complaint, but ASO denied. Therefore, it is only necessary to wait for the official information on this subject.See the video next to the day of the forced resting of the teams in the Dakar 2018.
