LAMPO RECEIVES INFLUENCE OF FIAT TURBINA CONCEPT
Horacio Pagani and Lapo Elkann - grandson of Gianni Agnelli, founder of Fiat - joined forces to create this unique unit of Huayra. This is the new Pagani Huayra Lampo, one of the most interesting projects in which the Italian manufacturer has been working in recent times. This one-off will target a well-known company dedicated to the tuning and modification sector, Garage Italia Customs (GIC), owned by Lapo Elkann.Aesthetically, the new Pagani Huayra Lampo presents a clear influence of a concept car that Fiat revealed in the 50's. This is the Fiat Turbina Concept of 1954. All the colors and other details used outside the Italian supersport refer to the model conceptual. The color scheme used, red and white, contrasts very peculiarly with all the carbon fiber used outdoors.
If we take a look at the wheel arches of the Huayra Lampo, we can see that they are adorned with the Italian flag. Another detail to note is that the Pagani Huayra used for this project is not the conventional model, since it is equipped with the optional 'Tempesta' package. On the other hand, it should be noted as curiosity, that the Italian word 'Lampo' means ray.As specified by the staff of Garage Italia Customs, the new owners of Pagani Huayra Lampo, the project lasted about two years. In this way, this unique copy represents one of the most time-consuming work in which Pagani was involved. The new golden wheels that show Brembo brake calipers with Italian flag motifs are another highlight.
Mechanically there is no news, since the new Pagani Huayra Lampo continues to be propelled by a 6.0-liter V12 6.0-liter biturbo of Mercedes-AMG origin that in this case develops a power of 730 hp and 1,000 Nm of maximum torque.
