LAND CRUISER 2018:DURABILITY AND MANY FUNCTIONALITY

Toyota presents at the Frankfurt Motor Show its all-terrain icon, the Land Cruiser, a model that bears on its back a 65-year heritage.
New developments around the new Land Cruiser start at the dimensions, with the vehicle growing 60 mm in length, now has 4,840 mm - and 4,565 mm in the three-door version.
The new model also features a more modern exterior style, which includes a new hood, a new grille with wide vertical bars and new headlights. In the back there are new flashlights.
The new Land Cruiser will go on sale in Europe with a 2.8-liter D-4D 177-hp turbo diesel engine with automatic or manual transmission, both six-speed. In the markets of Eastern Europe will be available with petrol engines 2.7 VVT-i of 161 hp and 4.0 VVT-i of 249 hp - 282 hp for units sold in Ukraine.

The interior design is more sophisticated, highlighting an 8.0-inch touch screen with multimedia system. The steering wheel is new, being now the same that equips the models Land Cruiser V8. Still in the cockpit and for better comfort, the front seats are ventilated and the rear heated.
From a dynamic point of view, the Japanese manufacturer further ensures that it has improved the capabilities of the vehicle, both on the road and off the asphalt. Its ground clearance is 215 mm (205 mm in the three-door versions) and the angle of attack of 31 degrees, the exit angle of 25 degrees and the break angle of 22 degrees.
