X60 2018 COMES WITH NEW DESIGN AND TRANSMISSION CVT

Presented at the last São Paulo Motor Show, the Lifan X60 2018 SUV is available to the Brazilian consumer in the Lifan dealer network throughout Brazil. The 2018 SUV model has as its main change the availability of the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) automatic transmission in the VIP version, as well as design and comfort upgrades.
Brazil's best-selling Chinese vehicle in 2014, 2015 and 2016, the new Lifan X60 2018 continues to have two versions - Talent and VIP - but the CVT transmission is only available in the VIP version, which is the most sophisticated. The car also underwent a complete facelift in its external design and received several improvements in the interior finish, which give the SUV an aspect of greater sophistication and that appeal to the most demanding consumers



This is the first major change that the SUV has undergone since its launch in May 2013 and the introduction of the CVT transmission, an item of the most sought after by Brazilian consumers, brings an important boost to the brand's sales in Brazil and meets the market expectations, where today the preference is for the automatic transmission.The aesthetic changes seek to keep up with the trend of design and give the Lifan X60 a more classic and sophisticated look, especially with the change from the front grille to a wide horizontal bar with the name 'Lifan' applied in relief in place of the logo, accompanied by another narrower bar below.The grille modification involved a new front bumper with the DRL (Daytime Running Light) underneath, the fog lights in the middle, just below the front optics block with biparabolic headlights and the directional blink. The rearview mirrors have gained new design and bring the directional LED lights.

In the back of the X60 2018 there was also a major modification and that made the SUV more beautiful and full bodied. The rear bumper is larger, more enveloping and has a 'skirt' that imitates brushed steel and combines with the two side openings with chrome frames that simulate two exhaust tips.Complete with the Lifan X60 2018's new 18-inch wheels in the VIP version     (17 in the Talent version), the fender frames, which form together with the bumpers, and a side crease at the height of the chrome door handles , items that give the car a touch of sportiness. All of these design changes add value to the personality of the Lifan X60, whose features are those of a family vehicle, which offers great comfort and versatility for every day of the week and also for the weekends.



Internally, the Lifan X60 brings a new design to the dashboard and center console, plus the synthetic leather (eco) bench seat cover that matches the shades of gray on the sides of the doors, the speakers and the ceiling. A detail that adds a touch of sophistication to the new interior of the vehicle is the red stitching of seats and covers, highlighting the outline of the front panel, doors and seats.Another innovation is the new generation of the multimedia center 'Navtech 2.0', now with 8.0 inch screen that includes GPS, reverse camera, bluetooth connection for cellular call service, android system, USB inputs, SD card and auxiliary, among others convenience features, which highlights the Lifan X60 within the compact SUV category.Lifan's SUV mechanical set remains the same with the efficient 1.8-liter VVT 4-cylinder engine that develops 128 hp of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 165 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. This engine now combines with the CVT automatic transmission, which can be used in the 'D' (drive) position or can simulate six speeds for drivers who prefer to drive the vehicle more sporty.The Lifan X60 is characterized by the great comfort and interior space, the complete equipment package that includes, in addition to the traditional electric trio (glass, mirror adjustment and door lock), a long list of equipment such as multimedia system with GPS and camera parking sensor, individual reading lights for driver and passenger, twilight sensor, electric adjustment of headlight height, among other items.
