AUTONEWS

Nothing but water supplies this tricycle that reaches from 0 to 100 km/h  in half a second

Remember that feeling of terror when your five-year-old version climbed on top of a tricycle before it descended a bluff? That was nothing compared to what François Gissy must have felt as he got into his adult size tricycle driven by a pressurized water tank at 6,000 PSI.
When the valve holding 130 liters of pressurized rainwater inside a carbon fiber tank was opened, the tricycle accelerated to 100 miles per hour in only half a second. But until the tank was completely empty, the tricycle, built of motorcycle and go-kart parts, reached the top speed of 260 miles per hour. In a way, a motorcycle helmet does not seem to be enough safety equipment.
