ROLLS ROYCE
Future Rolls-Royce Cullinan revealed
There is something special about the moment when spy photos first surface, because that is when imagination meets reality. The DPCcars team has taken the latest spy shots of the next-generation Rolls-Royce Cullinan and transformed them into detailed render videos that preview what this ultra-luxury crossover could become. These visuals are not official and do not represent the final production model, but they offer a compelling early look at the direction Rolls-Royce appears to be taking.
At first glance, the rendered Cullinan remains instantly recognizable. The upright stance, clean surfaces, and commanding presence stay true to the current model. However, the proportions tell a different story. Based on the spy photos, the body appears significantly longer, largely due to an extended wheelbase. This change would allow Rolls-Royce to push rear seat comfort even further, reinforcing the Cullinan’s role as a rolling luxury lounge.
The front end is where the biggest visual evolution begins. The DPCcars renders reflect a new double decker headlight layout inspired by the Spectre. Slim horizontal LED daytime running lights sit high on the fascia, while the main rectangular headlamp units are positioned lower within the bumper. This approach modernizes the Cullinan’s face while keeping the brand’s unmistakable identity intact.
From the side, the overall design closely mirrors the current Cullinan, but the details reveal important changes. The side glass appears redesigned, creating much wider C pillars that give the rear section a stronger and more formal appearance. These subtle adjustments suggest a greater emphasis on rear passenger privacy and presence.
At the rear, the renders highlight another clear departure. The license plate recess moves from the tailgate down to the bumper, making the vehicle easier to identify at a glance. The taillights also appear new, with vertical light signatures visible through camouflage on the prototypes, echoing design cues introduced on the updated Ghost sedan.
Beyond design, the most dramatic transformation is expected to happen beneath the body. The next-generation Cullinan is widely expected to be fully electric. It is likely to ride on Rolls-Royce’s aluminum Architecture of Luxury platform, the same structure used by the Spectre electric coupe and first introduced on the Phantom in 2017. This platform was engineered from the start to support electrification.
The Spectre produces 585 horsepower and 900Nm of torque, and a Cullinan based on this architecture would likely need even more output to compensate for its increased size and weight. Rather than focusing on aggressive performance, Rolls-Royce is expected to prioritize effortless, silent acceleration that defines the brand.
According to current expectations, the premiere of the next Rolls-Royce Cullinan will take place closer to 2028. Until then, the DPCcars render videos offer an exciting glimpse into what the future of Rolls-Royce luxury SUVs may look like.
