TRIUMPH

Triumph Street Triple 765 RX and Moto2 Edition, heirs to the competition

The Street Triple series is one of Triumph's most acclaimed, and its 765cc engine, prepared for competition, has been used in the Moto2 World Championship since 2019, achieving 76 fastest lap records in races, 89 absolute fastest lap records, exceeding the 300 km/h barrier, for a total of 1,772,135 km in racing conditions.

The new motorcycles are part of the British manufacturer's strategy to strengthen its presence in the sports segment. The RX will be available for only one year, which automatically makes it a limited-edition product, while the Moto2 will have production restricted to just 1,000 units worldwide.

The Street Triple 765 RX brings significant changes compared to the already sporty RS version, with a main focus on improving dynamic behavior. The most important change is in the front suspension, where Triumph has replaced the Showa forks with a fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 system.

According to the British brand, this new suspension provides "superior response and control on the track," highlighting the intention to direct the RX towards more demanding use. The Öhlins suspension offers compression, rebound, and preload adjustments, maintaining the same 115 mm wheel travel as the RS version.

Visually, the Street Triple 765 RX is distinguished by a matte silver aluminum finish combined with Diablo red subframe and wheels – a color choice that pays homage to the original Street Triple 675 RX, a model that many enthusiasts remember for its lightweight character and precise handling. Other exclusive elements include a precision-machined top triple clamp and an exhaust with the RX logo laser-engraved.

With all the experience and data collected on the track, this three-cylinder engine has been optimized in terms of performance, response and durability, capable of delivering 130 hp at 12,000 rpm and 80 Nm at 9,500 rpm. These are the engine numbers of the Street Triple 765 RS, which until then was the sportiest in the family and serves as the basis for two other exclusive versions of the British brand.

The RX designation has a long tradition in the Triumph lineup. First introduced in 2015, the original Street Triple 675 RX offered riders a more precise and sporty alternative to the standard model, establishing itself as a symbol of exclusivity and sporting capabilities.

In 2025, the RX designation returns to the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX; in 2026, it returns to the Street Triple 765, which combines race-derived ergonomics with high-quality components and offers exceptional performance both on the road and on the track.

The new Street Triple 765 RX incorporates all the technology of the RS and adds a new fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 front suspension and sport handlebars, which offer a more aggressive and forward-leaning position for ideal ergonomics on the track.

Furthermore, it boasts a unique design that combines a matte silver aluminum finish with a Diablo red subframe and wheels, reinforcing its aggressive character. Specific details include a machined triple triple clamp, a laser-engraved RX logo on the silencer, and a custom seat — elements that pay homage to the aesthetics of the Street Triple 675 RX.

This Triumph Street Triple 765 RX will soon arrive at official dealerships and will be available for only one year, as it is a special edition priced at €14,695.

In addition to the exclusive RX, the Hinckley brand goes further with the launch of a limited edition, which honors Triumph's collaboration with the Moto2 World Championship and is presented as a collector's item.

This Moto2 edition incorporates the same exclusive equipment as the RX, but boasts an aesthetic directly inspired by racing. Its side panels, sump guard, front fender and exhaust trim are made of carbon fiber, it has a high-grip seat with the Moto2 logo, a transparent taillight and a color scheme in Mineral Grey and Crystal White, culminating in a Triumph Performance Yellow subframe and a matching stripe on the rear wheel.

In addition, each of the 1,000 units features its serial number engraved on the machined steering head and an exclusive welcome message on its TFT panel, reinforcing its limited edition status. The Triumph Street Triple 765 Moto2 Edition is available for €16,495 and will be delivered to its owners from June 2026.
