2026 Hayabusa Special Edition

Since its launch in 1999, the Suzuki Hayabusa has established itself as a true symbol of speed, a fact that motivated the brand to honor it with a special edition for enthusiasts who want not only to own a mechanical icon, but also a machine that stands out.

The special edition features a commemorative "Special Edition" emblem on the tank, white details on the fairing, special decals and the Suzuki logo embossed on the tank, an exclusive exhaust developed for this version, and a standard single-seat fairing. The motorcycle's color is a deep blue that contrasts with the white.

At the end of the last century, an electrifying arms race shook the world of two wheels: the search for the fastest production motorcycle on the planet. Kawasaki, with its ZX-11, opened the battle in the early 1990s, followed by Honda with its CBR1100XX Super Blackbird, but it was the Suzuki Hayabusa that, in 1999, broke the 300 km/h barrier and became an undeniable icon of speed and power. Almost 25 years later, the "Peregrine Hawk" continues to fascinate, and Suzuki celebrates its legacy with the launch of a special and exclusive edition.

The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition celebrates this model’s reign as motorcycling’s Ultimate Sportbike. This unique version of Suzuki’s flagship model is driven by a muscular yet refined inline four-cylinder engine, housed within a proven and modernized chassis that balances precision with unmatched composure. Its performance is expertly managed by an innovative suite of electronic rider aids; all wrapped in stunning aerodynamic bodywork that unmistakably carries the Hayabusa legacy.

New for 2026 in the Hayabusa Special Edition. Presenting a powerful, unique presence is the stately Pearl Vigor Blue colorway with contrasting trim and special attention to detail. The scheme has prominent and iconic Hayabusa Kanji symbols in bright white and comes with a standard, matching solo seat cowl.

Now equipped with a high-capacity, lithium-ion battery, developed by ELIIY Power the Hayabusa Special Edition is instantly recognizable as its wind-cheating body preserves the cues that were inspired by the peregrine falcon – the world’s fastest animal. To bring a sophisticated appearance to the iconic Hayabusa, Suzuki’s design team incorporated distinct lines and shapes to achieve an expression of refinement and ultimate performance.

The heart of the Hayabusa remains its 1,340 cc engine, which, although with a "moderate" power of 190 hp, has a fabulous torque of 15.3 kgf.m, more than capable of taking the bike to impressive speeds, maintaining performance above the 300 km/h barrier. The focus now is on more controlled, safe, and comfortable riding.
The special edition that Suzuki has just revealed for select markets is a true work of art. Its most striking feature is the new and exclusive blue and white paint scheme, which evokes a classic yet modern style. On the tank, a commemorative sticker makes it clear that this is no ordinary Hayabusa.

The Hayabusa’s legendary 1340cc, four-cylinder, DOHC engine is fed by Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle bodies with dual fuel injectors feeding each cylinder, mixing with pressurized air from the Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD) intakes in the nose of the aerodynamic fairing. Constructed of strong, yet lightweight stainless steel, the symmetrical twin silencer exhaust system delivers an exciting exhaust note.

The Hayabusa’s superbike-caliber, twin-spar aluminum frame delivers a stable ride with nimble handling that can be personalized through the adjustable KYB-supplied suspension. Optimized aerodynamics, wind protection, and relaxed ergonomics help provide comfort. The brake system is highlighted by the leading-edge Brembo® Stylema® four-piston front calipers with a pair of 320 mm diameter stainless-steel full-floating brake rotors.

The aesthetic ensemble is complemented by the two exhausts with a matte gray finish — a more sophisticated alternative to traditional chrome. The tail section comes with a removable cover, which provides a sporty and aerodynamic look, ready for the road.

The Hayabusa employs an advanced version of the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.); a comprehensive collection of electronic rider aids like Traction Control* and Bi-directional Quick Shift system that can optimize and personalize the motorcycle’s performance characteristics to match the conditions and desires of the rider.

Recently refined, the S.I.R.S. is programmed with more effective engine speeds for the Launch Control modes while the Smart Cruise Control will not cancel if the rider changes gears by using the Bi-directional Quick Shift system. This refinement brings a higher level of rider convenience over the Hayabusa’s original cruise control system.
