Macan GTS: a track-ready SUV
Porsche is expanding the Macan Electric range with the arrival of the GTS, a variant that aims to raise the performance bar for an SUV that has always been a bestseller in the German manufacturer's lineup. With 571 hp in overboost mode and maximum torque of 955 Nm, the new GTS reaches 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed limited to 250 km/h.
The drivetrain utilizes the most powerful rear motor in the Macan family. Porsche claims its compact design, with a 900-amp silicon carbide pulse inverter, is optimized for immediate and sustained power delivery. Combined with Launch Control, the system enables acceleration even faster than that of the brand's iconic 959 (3.9 seconds).
To live up to the GTS moniker, Porsche has developed a specially tuned adaptive air suspension with a 10 mm lower ride height. The stabilizer bars have been revised for greater handling precision, and rear-wheel steering is available as an option. The Sport Chrono Package is standard and includes a more powerful Track mode, which saves battery power. Finally, the rear differential has an electronically controlled locking mechanism.

The technical configuration includes a sport-tuned air suspension and an electronic rear differential lock. The body sits 10 millimeters lower to the ground, and the 48/52 axle weight distribution ensures precise handling. The ePTM all-wheel drive system and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus complete the GTS's specific tuning. Furthermore, Track Mode, inherited from the Taycan, improves cooling and battery performance under high thermal demands, should anyone wish to subject it to the stresses of a racetrack.
The Macan GTS offers a certified range of up to 586 kilometers. At a fast-charging station, it can recover from 10% to 80% of its capacity in 21 minutes, thanks to its 100 kWh battery and a maximum charging power of 270 kW.
On the outside, it stands out with the black accents that characterize Porsche's GTS versions. The darkened Matrix LED headlights, redesigned side skirts, and rear diffuser remind you that this is no ordinary Macan. It comes standard with 21-inch anthracite gray wheels and can be equipped with 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels. Additionally, three new colors (Crayon, Carmine Red, and Lugano Blue) have been added to the lineup.
The interior is dominated by sporty materials. Race-Tex fabric, combined with black leather, covers the seats, steering wheel, and dashboard. The optional GTS package allows you to match the exterior colors with the interior stitching and seat belts. Interestingly, the digital instrumentation reproduces the car in 3D, matching the body color exactly (although Porsche can offer any color upon request).

Porsche claims 363 miles of range when you’re not overboosting everywhere, and should you need to recharge it’ll do it in 21 minutes when connected to a fast charger (it can accept up to 270kW).
The GTS gets Porsche’s Sport Chrono Pack as standard, a rear-biased weight distribution, Acronyms – electric Porsche Traction Management (ePTM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV, um, Plus) – an e-diff lock, and 10mm lower air suspension that gives this Macan the lowest centre of gravity in the range.
There’s special noise, too, in the sound of another Acronym: Porsche Electric Sport Sound (PESS). Special design, too, in the shape of black details, new side skirts, a more “pronounced” rear diffuser panel, 21in wheels and the option of 22s. New colours are also available, while inside you’ll find ‘Race-Tex’ upholstery, leather, 18-way adjustable sports seats, and the rest of the new Macan’s cockpit setup.
2,500 kg of tow...Standard equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, which allows you to record lap times and analyze telemetry data directly from the central display. It also incorporates technological improvements found in the rest of the Macan line, such as the Porsche Digital Key, new parking assistants, improved voice control, and an increased towing capacity of 2,500 kg. The new Porsche Macan GTS is now available to order in Spain, with a starting price of 106,461 euros.

Factory data indicates a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). The 100 kWh battery guarantees a range of 585 km (365 miles) on a single charge, according to the WLTP cycle. At fast-charging stations, charging goes from 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes.
In Germany, interested parties can already reserve the model, with prices starting at €104,200.
