Carpoint Dacia Bigster
German dealer Carpoint has equipped the Dacia Bigster with the rugged Redust Offroad and Redust Sport packages for trail and street style.
Dacia's best-selling crossover Duster has recently been joined by its larger and more practical Bigster sibling. German dealer Carpoint, already known for its Duster-based projects, has recognized the opportunity and introduced tuning packages for the Bigster, giving buyers the option of a rugged off-road style or a more sporty, road-oriented look, writes Autonews.

The new options fall under the Redust line, following the formula already applied to the Duster. The two SUVs share a lot of design DNA, although the Bigster has received a redesigned front bumper, an extended wheelbase and a longer rear overhang.
Arguably the most attractive equipment package is the Redust Offroad, which builds on the Bigster's adventurous character. This trim adds an aluminum roof rack with integrated LED lights, a vented hood, side steps, window decals and a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels with thicker 235/65R16 off-road tires. The front bumper, which is available for the Duster, is missing here, though buyers can go a step further with an optional suspension lift kit to increase ground clearance.

The Redust Sport goes in the opposite direction and focuses more on the road. The most eye-catching feature is the 20-inch alloy wheels with a multi-spoke design and low-profile tires. These can be paired with a new suspension for a lower stance and sharper handling. Other details include a hood vent, which in this case is purely decorative, as well as a gloss black finish for the trim, which blends into the grille and roof.

The Redust packages focus solely on styling and suspension, with no performance upgrades included. They can be paired with any of the powertrains available for the Bigster, such as the new self-charging hybrid system, which delivers 154 hp, and all-wheel drive is optionally available.

Carpoint is currently offering the Dacia Bigster Extreme TCE 130 4×4 with the Redust Offroad kit for €36,290. This example has the base 1.2-liter engine with a mild hybrid system, which delivers 130 hp, and power is transmitted to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
For existing Bigster owners who want to upgrade it with individual components, a roof rack costs €999, aluminum sills are available for €799, and a bonnet for €749. Finally, 16-inch alloy wheels will cost buyers an additional €1,699, while 20-inch sports wheels are more expensive and cost €1,999.
