Triumph 900 GT Pro, Available in Limited Edition for A2 License Holders
The British manufacturer has announced an exciting addition to its trail range with the launch of the new Tiger 900 GT Pro A2, a version specifically designed for A2 license holders.
This move by the Hinckley-based manufacturer aims to bring the experience of adventure and long-distance travel to a wider audience, while maintaining the performance, comfort, and advanced equipment that characterize the "full power" version.
The heart of the Tiger 900 GT Pro A2 remains the charismatic 888cc three-cylinder engine with a T-plane crankshaft and its distinctive ignition sequence. This mechanical configuration retains its energetic character and linear power delivery across the entire rev range.
The new tuning to achieve 95 hp—which makes it possible to convert this model for A2 users—ensures optimized performance throughout the range. All this without losing the distinctive and recognizable sound that distinguishes the three-cylinder Tiger family.
As for the chassis, the Tiger 900 GT Pro A2 makes no compromises and lives up to its name. It features high-end Marzocchi suspension, optimized to deliver maximum capabilities on all types of roads.
The 45 mm inverted fork is fully adjustable, while the rear shock features electronic preload and rebound damping. With a dexterous 180 mm of travel at the front and 170 mm at the rear, the specific suspension setup aims to deliver excellent road handling and superior comfort on long journeys.
Triumph emphasizes that this A2 version is not a "cut-down" bike, but a true Tiger that maintains the DNA of the range intact. It retains advanced technology, a top-level chassis, and an imposing design.
It offers plenty of electronic aids, including corner-optimized ABS and traction control, five riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport, Off-Road, and customizable Rider), an emergency braking warning system; the handy standard Triumph Shift Assist for shifting up and down without using the clutch; TPMS for tire pressure monitoring; and the My Triumph connectivity system.
The latter is compatible with navigation, music, and calls, displayed via a high-visibility 7-inch TFT screen. The fuel tank has a 20-liter capacity, and the windshield offers five heights with a 50 mm adjustment range (manual operation).
For those who wish to customize their ride, Triumph offers more than 50 original accessories, from off-road protection and specific kits such as the Protection, Trekker, or Expedition, to comfort and luggage solutions, tailoring the bike to each rider's style.
As an added incentive, the 35 kW restriction kit and its installation will be free. The reservation and configuration process is now available through the official Triumph website and its dealer network.
