Pininfarina Battista Novantacinque

Pininfarina has announced the arrival of the "last edition" of the Battista hypercar, which marks and celebrates the 95th anniversary of the famous Italian design house. This model is simply called Novantacinque.

The hypercar looks magnificent. Its carbon fiber panels are painted in Rosso Gloss red, which is deeply rooted in Italian culture, and a series of gold stripes run along the lower parts of the body. The underside of the split rear wing contains even more gold.

The "Iconico" five-spoke wheels are painted in Precision Polished Colourless, which looks like silver. They have been given details in the form of brushed aluminum, and behind them are black brake calipers.

The "Pilot" seats are upholstered in black Alcantara and black leather and stitched with two-tone black and gold thread. The interior features several commemorative "95" logos, as well as machined aluminum rotating dials and carbon satin trim.

As Mundoquatrorodas reports, this celebratory edition doesn't add any more power, but it doesn't need to. The Battista's four-motor powertrain, also found in the Rimac Nevera, still delivers 1,900 hp and 2,300 Nm of torque to all four wheels. In short, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in around two seconds, reaches 300 km/h in 12 seconds, while its top speed is 345 km/h.

"This unique car marks the end of Battista production this year. The Novantacinque marks a milestone in the history of Automobili Pininfarina," the statement said.

Limited to just 150 units globally, the Battista will be finished later this year.
