Marc Marquez wins the Aragon Grand Prix

Ducati rider Marc Marquez, a Spaniard, won today's MotoGP race at the Aragon Grand Prix.

Marc Marquez won the race at the Motorland track with a time of 41:11.195. Second place went to his brother Alex, who is a member of the BK8 Gresini Racing team. Third was another Ducati rider, the Italian Francesco Bagnaia.

Marc Márquez got off to a good start and took the lead, followed by his brother Alex Márquez, and with a good start from Pecco Bagnaia who took third place, unlike in the sprint - where he fell at the start. Morbidelli got off to a bad start and was overtaken by Fermín Aldeguer, losing sixth place. Pedro Acosta went from fifth to fourth place, with Binder also from KTM behind him. The shark then took no notice of two-time world champion Pecco Bagnaia and overtook the Italian to take third place - but in a back-and-forth, Bagnaia retook third place.

On lap 4, Franco Morbidelli overtook Binder and took fifth place, but then Morbidelli made a mistake and Binder retook fifth place. While the third to sixth place riders were overtaking, the lead and second place remained calm, led first by Marc Márquez, followed by his brother, Álex Márquez. On lap 9, Fabio Quartararo was overtaken by Joan Mir, from Honda, and then by Maverick Viñales from KTM, which left the French rider in 11th place.

And on lap 13, Fabio Quartararo had a setback, on turn 1, the Frenchman suffered a fall alone, thus ending another difficult weekend with Yamaha. On lap 14, Joan Mir surprisingly overtook Fabio Di Giannantonio, but on the straight, Diggia regained seventh place. And behind Mir was Vinãles, they dueled for eighth place and the Honda rider came out on top. And on lap 17, Diggia lost eighth place to Maverick Vinãles. On lap 18, Fermín Aldeguer, in a continuous insistence, was in a frantic duel with Franco Morbidelli for fifth place. They were side by side.

Fermín overtook him, but was repassed, and Morbidelli managed to defend his position. Marco Bezzecchi, who started in 20th place after falling in the classification, climbed up the field and, with four laps to go, managed to take ninth place after making a great overtake on Fabio Di Giannantonio from VR46. Now Bezzecchi's mission was to get close to Vinãles, who was ahead of him. However, the Spanish driver crashed with three laps to go, and Bez inherited 8th place. In the final moments of the race, there was another duel between Fermín Aldeguer and Franco Morbidelli. In the duel, the Italian driver even made aggressive contact with the rookie and managed to maintain fifth place.

Marc Marquez is in first place in the overall drivers' standings with 233 points, while Alex is in second with 201.

The next race in the MotoGP championship will be held on June 22 for the Italian Grand Prix.
