Damd Honda WR-V Reverb

Japanese tuner Damd, known for its numerous retro creations based on current models, announced the WR-V Reverb earlier this year, essentially a Honda WR-V that has been given the full Jeep Cherokee XJ treatment. In the meantime, the package has officially gone on sale in Japan.

In short, the Damd WR-V Reverb has a completely redesigned front end with a six-slot grille and rectangular headlights that pay homage to the classic Cherokee. The transformation doesn't stop there, as Damd has even envisioned side graphics that resemble the wood trim found on old American station wagons.

In addition, the WR-V Reverb also gets a new hood and a robust front bumper with unpainted plastic and faux aluminum accents. The look is completed by a set of Dean Cross Country wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires. Finally, there's a higher ground clearance (by 30-35 mm).

As for the engine, there are no changes, so the drive is provided by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated i-VTEC engine with 89 kW/121 hp, paired with a CVT transmission.

Regarding some prices, a complete retro change of the front end costs 327,800 yen (1,990 euros) before painting, while side stickers with wood motifs are 63,800 yen (about 390 euros).
