SAOUTCHIK

Saoutchik Torpedo S
The Saoutchik company was founded in 1906 in France (the founder was Yakov Savchik, born in Russia) and existed until 1955, and now everything is ready for its return to the scene.

Only 15 copies are planned, the buyers of which will be car enthusiasts and collectors. It is emphasized that there will be no identical vehicles among them, because each Torpedo S will be strictly individual.

The debut project of the newly created Saoutchik is the Saoutchik Torpedo S roadster (announced last year as the 300 GTC), which is inspired by the Mercedes 300 SL.
The base is the Mercedes-AMG SL, which here received a carbon fiber body from Pogea Racing, while the engine, transmission and electronics are from the original.

Under the hood is Mercedes' 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, boosted to 625 hp.
The Torpedo S accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, and its top speed reaches 322 km/h.

The news also states that more than 4,000 working hours are required to produce a single Torpedo S.
The first vehicle will be delivered to a customer early next year.
